Level I & II Yin Yoga Teacher Training Courses
Danielle's Yin Yoga Teacher's Training is a well-rounded program that highlights key aspects of several popular philosophies. She incorporates real world experiences to make it easy to blend into existing beliefs and practices. Whether you're a Yin loyalist or an instructor looking to add some variety to your teaching practice, this training is a great fit for all levels and backgrounds.
*This training is also open to non-instructors looking to deepen their practice.
We will begin the course by looking at the common misinterpretations of Yin Yoga. We will discuss key Yin Yoga principles and philosophies as well as the physical, energetic, and mind-bodies. We will cover the Yin postures as well as targeted sequencing for specific Meridians in the body. We will also discuss the moving of energy specific to each posture as well as the internal anatomy that goes into the creation of these postures.
Specific to this course, we will cover how to incorporate Yin into your life both on and off the mat. We will also be discussing the key physical and mental health benefits of a Yin practice and how to effectively communicate these to your students. Prepare to immerse yourself in all things "Yin" and to uncover how Yin is so much more than just a yoga practice. You will learn to connect with the part of you that can be still, listen, allow, and accept. Life is meant to be balanced and Yin is the "missing link" for many of us in achieving that.
After completion of this course, you will have a much greater understanding of Yin and how it is a necessary compliment to any lifestyle. This course qualifies for 20 hours of Yoga Alliance Continuing Education contact hours, as well as CPD points through Yoga Australia . All participants will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the training.
